Hello Everyone!
I’ve been away from my blog for quite a while. So, I thought I would come back with something I haven’t talked about before and share something very close to my heart. That would be families with autism. Every family has challenges. Ours just happens to be having three children on the autism spectrum, ranging from very high functioning to severe. Like parents everywhere we cherish each of our children and have had to grow in so many ways to become the parents our children need us to be. (Even our non-autistic daughter stretched us, imagine that.) 😉 I will share a bit more about life on the spectrum in later posts.
This post, however, is to share a documentary that our oldest daughter, Steffanie, made with Dylan Sewell on some of the unique educational challenges for students with Aspergers.
May this video bless you.
Jen
After posting this on Facebook, several people including school personnel and people in the medical profession who work with autistic individuals said they found it helpful and requested that I consider reposting to keep Steff’s and Dylan’s video circulating.
If you think this may benefit someone, please feel free to pass it along.
Thanks!
